Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance Facility

TO ALL ICCA MEMBERS. (And all CMCs!who have friendly feelings towards us)

On behalf of members, the committee of the I.C.C.A. has negotiated very reasonable premiums for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity cover.

We have also negotiated cover for your P.A. Systems as well.

Cover is arranged by each individual celebrant directly with Marsh, NOT as a group.

The I.C.C.A. has negotiated a liability insurance facility for our members with Marsh Pty Ltd, the world’s leading provider of risk management and insurance services.  The facility, negotiated by Marsh, is not only cost effective but has good quality cover at reasonable premiums.

For a very reasonable annual premium of about $155·00, the liability facility provides the following cover:

1. Public Liability  - $5,000,000 any one occurrence
2. Products Liability   - $5,000,000 any one occurrence and in the aggregate during any one policy year
3. Goods in Physical or Legal Control  - $250,000 any one occurrence
4. Professional Indemnity  - $1,000,000 any one claim, $2,000,000 in the aggregate any one policy year.

The Excess:  $500 each and every claim

Loss of Documents

Trade Practices Act/Fair Trading Act

Involuntary Infringement of Copyright

Continuous Cover

Major Exclusions:

Molestation / Sexual Abuse

Racial / Religious Vilification
